Andis AGC Clippers Review

My little Jack Russell used to be a real pain to groom. He was fidgety, jumpy and always agitated. One of the main reasons for his distress was the noise. He couldn't stand the sound of clippers when they got close to his ear.

When I first purchased the Andis AGC Super 2-Speed Clippers I assumed I would run into the same problems I've always had. But then the strangest thing happened. Not only was my Jack Russell calm, but he seemed to enjoy himself! Now, whenever I get out the clippers his tail starts waggling and he won't leave me alone.

The Pros

When you work as a professional dog groomer, finding a set of clippers that are ergonomic and comfortable to use is paramount. When you have to hold something all day long, not having the right grip can take its toll on your forearm. Fortunately, the Andis Agc Super 2-Speed Clippers are perfect. Not only are they the right weight, they have a very comfortable handle that's simple to control, even in those hard-to-reach areas, such as under the legs and around the face.

The best thing about these clippers is the speed. In the grooming business, efficiency is a deal-breaker as you usually have a very specific time window to get the job done. With the high speed 4000 stroke per minute setting, it takes me around 20 minutes to clip a small dog, when before it would have taken double the time.

The Cons

None that I can think of!

Conclusion

I would recommend these clippers to both professional or amateur dog groomers. They are comfortable to hold, highly versatile, and as quiet as a mouse. Fundamentally, they tick all of the right boxes. No complaints.
